A simple inventory scanner, to scan items and download to your PC! Be sure to check out all the pictures! SCAN ITEMS: Scan items, dock the device, and they are available on your PC, running Windows XP, Vista, or Windows 7. ENTER QUANTITY: Two modes of quantity input: QTY mode, where a quick 10 key pops up for entry of numbers, as well as a simple +/- up/down arrows to increase/decrease quantities as you go. CONNECT TO PC: Once you are done scanning, you can simply hit the "Generate File" from the main menu, dock the computer, and grab your file. Duplicate scans are automatically combined, so you get a complete file of all the scan counts. Check out all the pictures to get a complete view of the product! SOLID EQUIPMENT: The industrial device is a refurbished barcode computer, with a lithium ion battery, color touch screen, windows ce.net 4.2 operating system, 1D scanner, dock, usb cable, power supply. The scanner will scan all 1D (regular) barcodes, including UPC, Code 39, Code 128, etc. (product barcodes, ups/fedex barcodes, shelf barcodes, etc). WARRANTY AND SUPPORT: It is a complete kit. We provide free Phone and Email technical support, and a 1-Year Warranty. SHIPPING WORLDWIDE: 10,000+ of these kits are in stock so feel free to inquire about additional units, rentals, or custom software. RETURNS: We have an unconditional 30 day full refund policy if this kit does not work out for any reason! However, because of potential use as a "weekend inventory rental" we cannot accept returns on this item if it has been used to scan over 100 items, or if the internal SD card has been tampered with! Should the device not work out for you, we will refund the original price paid, plus any original shipping costs, however we will not pay for return shipping costs back to us. INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS: The power supply will support 110V/240V, so it is compatible in all countries, however the plug is a USA plug, on the power adapter for the dock. Please also feel free to contact us for special shipping arrangements on your fedex/ups account in order to have customs and duties charges include on your own account, otherwise we will ship but ask the delivery company (fedex/ups) to collect taxes/duties upon delivery. FAQ: Q: How many scans can it hold? A: Unlimited, only by the size of the SD card used in the device for storage, we recommend unloading the data after 1,000 scans, however it is only limited by the size of the SD card, currently, well over 5000 items can fit. Q: Can you lose the data? What if the device breaks? A: Very unlikely, because the data is stored on the SD card in the device. The SD card can be removed, and inserted into any PC, and data can be recovered. Q: Will this run my business? A: No, this is a very simple scanner. It simply scans a barcode (digits in the barcode, a part number, UPC barcode, or tracking number for example), and stores it, along with any qty entered. Q: What do I get when I scan a barcode, will it give me a price or description? A: No, this is simply a portable memory scanner, for taking inventory, or scanning barcodes, it only stores the digits, or part numbers, and then can be downloaded into the PC. EXAMPLES of areas of which this is of use: Retail store inventory ; Shipping/receiving ; Time and attendance tracking ; BarCode verification ; EXAMPLES of areas of which this is of NO USE: It will NOT keep track of items on your PC. It will NOT give you pricing or a description. It is NOT an inventory management software package for your PC. There is NO software. It is a portable memory scanner only. We ARE working on an advanced development kit which will be available for download free, at a later date, and it will include PC application software that will allow you to configure the device for additional functionality, such as additional fields, date/time stamp, and a few other features, however it is for advanced users and is not available at this time.
