We have a great solution for inventory scanning using a low cost refurbished Symbol laser data terminal. If all you really want to do is scan items and enter data, then import it to a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet, this is an incredible deal! Our inventory scanner system is simple to use.

The complete kit includes a mobile laser scan gun pre-loaded with software. The inventory scanner software allows you to scan/key input and download to your PC. Also included in the software are advanced features including three 'user fields' you can name as well as scan time/date stamp option.

Please note that this is not a large inventory system to manage your business, rather it is a simple tool for inventory scanning. After you setup the gun, you simply scan and/or key your data, download it to the PC, and use it as a spreadsheet, or import to Access database.

PLEASE NOTE! This is a SIMPLE system! It is a portable scanner that collects data, and allows you to download it to your PC. You MUST have Excel or Access to import and manage the data you get. Each time you download the data, you get another new file. The dowload software will NOT update your spreadsheet (for example, it will not tell you what you sold last month, etc.) This system is a PHYSICAL INVENTORY scanner. It works great for a single user, or a team of users, as you can put a user ID in the gun, and each user will have their own set of files. For those of you new to bar coding, please note that If you scan a bar code, only the digits in the barcode show up in the gun and are downloaded in the data to PC. It does not give you description, price, etc, unless that is part of your bar code. In most cases, the barcode is simply a lookup part #, etc. The scanner can be used in many environments, but it is, in summary: "A portable scanner, that allows you to scan/key and download to the PC, then manage the data yourself."

How many items can the scanner hold? 1000, then you must download to PC, erase scanner, scan more..

How long does the battery last? A full charge will last for 500 - 1000+ entries (dependant upon usage patterns)

What does 'refurbished' mean? Refurbished means, it is a used unit, but it is tested and warranted.

Can we use multiple guns for team inventory? Yes, you can use unlimited units, each .CSV file created is unique
